QuikVue Vet Case Study—Feline Herpesvirus

02/12/25

We are glad to share a vet case study captured by QuikVue eye imaging adaptor from Dr.Allison Fuchs.

What a difference a week makes! Oh to be a kitten with amazing healing powers. This sweet little nugget is all healed up after some medication changes and he is back to wreaking havoc at home. Feline herpes virus (FHV) is endemic among cats and can lead to conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers. Secondary corneal infection complicates their healing. Prompt and appropriate therapy can turn them around rapidly and fortunately we were able to get this healed.
