QuikVue Vet Case Share - conjunctival graft

01/30/26

We are glad to share a vet case study captured by QuikVue eye imaging adaptor from Dr. Allison Fuchs.

This little dog is now 1 month post a conjunctival graft for a corneal perforation and doing so well. She still has one corneal suture that needs to dissolve but the rest are gone! Her vision is maintained and she is completely comfortable, and the corneal infection she had previously is resolved. We also removed a lot of abnormal eyelashes that were part of the reason she got the corneal ulcer in the first place! Swipe to see her before picture.

This case was a bit unique as the dog was not able to be administered topical eye drops consistently at home. After surgery we did most of her treatment with oral antibiotics and thankfully were successful!
