QuikVue Vet Case Study—Healing a Deep Corneal Ulcer in a Cat

03/25/25

We are glad to share a vet case study captured by QuikVue eye imaging adaptor from Dr. Allison Fuchs.

We love a progress update! Swipe to see how far we’ve come in just 2 weeks with this kitty. She initially came to see me on May 2, which is the very last image, with a very deep infected corneal ulcer. We started intensive medical management and saw her back in 5 days, at which time she had already made huge strides (middle photo). Fast forward to today and her eye is all healed! There is some remodeling of the scar that will happen with time but she can be done with medications and go back to normal life. Her mom was thrilled to be able to keep her out of surgery and I am delighted with how well she responded to medication.
