We are glad to share a vet case study captured by QuikVue eye imaging adaptor from Dr.Allison Fuchs.

This is a before/during/after series on a very special pony. A couple of months ago, I was called out to see this horse who came in from the field in the morning with an eye injury. He had severely lacerated the cornea, leaving a large flap of tissue. Thankfully it was not penetrating into the anterior chamber. Because of the horse’s job, we wanted to try to heal this with the least possible scarring and impact on vision. We performed surgery that same day to repair the laceration, and he was treated with antibiotics and antifungals to help address a secondary infection. Thanks to his dedicated owners, he healed fully and was left with a scar that will continue to fade over the coming weeks and months
